Hi! My name is Michaela Stránská, but I primarily work under the pseudonym Michaela Eleanor Packstein. The surname Packstein comes from my ancestors’ side of the family. It is a name that has completely disappeared in the Czech Republic, which is one of the reasons I chose to carry it into my work. I am 22 years old and come from a small town in the north of the Czech Republic. I studied at grammar school and later continued with art studies at a private university.

I have been painting for as long as I could hold a pencil. My mom played a big role in that, she encouraged me to create from a young age, and over time it became something I cannot imagine my life without.

Today, I focus mainly on oil painting, creating fantasy-inspired female figures and melancholic scenes based on my own life. I am also a certified tattoo artist, although I currently focus primarily on painting.
